Yemaya — Mother of Oceans 

She’s the great nurturer, the fierce protector, the moon’s pull on every drop of water in your body.   Carried across the seas and kept alive in the hearts of those who remembered her, Yemaya comes from the ancient Yoruba tradition of West Africa.

She is the second goddess in my first Goddess Mala Collection — a series honoring sacred feminine archetypes through gemstones, color, and story.

I knotted this mala in her honor on soft seafoam cord — letting the colors move like currents:
