1970 is a celebration of the decade of peace, love, and unapologetic self-expression… and a personal nod to the year I took my first breath.

This 108-bead mala begins and ends with Phoebe zhennan wood — warm, honey-gold beads with a grounding, steady energy. I placed them at the start, the halfway point, and again before the final beads so they carry you through the mala like mile markers on a soulful road trip.

• Root – Red jasper to keep my feet on the ground 

• Sacral – Orange aventurine to spark joy and creativity 

• Solar Plexus – Citrine for that golden Leo confidence 

• Heart – Moss agate to soften and open the heart 

• Throat – Blue aventurine for truth and expression 

• Third Eye – Amazonite to trust my insight 

• Crown – Purple mica lepidolite to quiet the mind and connect to spirit 

The guru bead is a 12mm turquoise — bold, protective, and as timeless as the decade itself — accented with a carved wooden flower and finished with dangles in all seven chakra colors.
